Managing short term rentals was a bit of an AHA moment for me, while vacationing back in 2019. As an airline employee and travel blogger, I had done a bit of traveling while staying in Airbnb’s and loving the added value that the platform had given my adventures.
I love the personal feeling of knowing “a friend” in a new place and my hosts have been nothing short of amazing. Whether it was showing me around town, giving me National Park passes to explore the park or just offering me some morning coffee, it feels good to know I am in a safe place with people who are willing to share some local treasures with me. That’s always been the part of Airbnb that I love and the reason why I continue to use the platform - worldwide!
At the time, I had already been in traditional real estate for some years and it never sparked a true passion with me. While enjoying an Airbnb in Hawaii I had the bright idea to get into property management for vacation rentals and I've never looked back.
I love helping my guests explore the area to discover the town from a locals perspective and I love making my clients an income they can live on. I still don’t enjoy traditional real estate as much - but I am always excited to help those find the perfect income producing vacation home! If it has anything to do with vacationing and having a good time - count me IN!
