Hi I’m Kosta, and I think you should promote your vacation home on Airbnb! Why? Well, it’s a great way to generate more income for your family, expand your investment portfolio and have a bit of fun with all the extra money you’re making!
I exclusively use Airbnb for my travels! When it comes to booking a stay - it really just boils down to the experience I am wanting! For instance, when I travel for work, I tend to book more modern places that have a dedicated workspace with a printer and are close to the airport. When I am traveling for a more unique, private, and luxurious experience with my lover - I go for the highly-rated (and usually more expensive) Airbnb stays. A quick weekend trip with the girls? Well, you get the idea. Airbnb has something to offer to everyone!
What makes Airbnb so special to me is the originality of hosts and the experience provided at their home. Locals always know the cool stuff to do around town and when you are staying with someone from the area, it just adds that much more value to my vacation experience. Big bonus points if the host loves to travel as much as I do and their reviews reflect an awesome "inside scoop" to the area! Reviews will tell you just about everything you need to know - always over-deliver, it will {almost} always show up in the reviews.
I've had people show me around the city, cook for me, lend me their National Park passes and we even had one host give us a 1-hour adventure tour of Hana ranch in Maui! I can honestly say that most of my hosts have made me feel so welcomed, at ease with traveling to an unfamiliar place, and offered to help in so many ways during my stay. It's what inspired me to become my own Host here in Treasure Island, FL, and start my very own Vacation Home Management Company.
Whatever you have a private room to offer or a 5 bedroom home - I guarantee that you will get bookings and start making an income right away, as long as you follow the proper design tips and maximize the stay experience for the type of traveler you are attracting!
