Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, Miami, FL:

 

The Vizcaya Museum is a former villa and estate of the businessman James Deering. Now a museum, the Vizcaya still retains most of its original furnishings as well as the historic layout of the formal gardens. Here you will find sites such as the Main House with 34 decorated rooms that hold over 2,500 art objects and furnishings as well as ten acres of European-inspired formal gardens.

Railroad Museum, Miami, FL:

 

The railroad museum has over three miles of tracks of preserved railroad history. The Museum strives to teach history with interactive displays, artifacts, movies and railroad materials. The Sunken Gardens is a botanical paradise with more than 50,000 tropical plants and flowers. You can see the resident birds there are well as some exotics and even get them to talk back to you.
